CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a qualified CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team during the winter holiday season. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to facility protocols and guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver patient-centered care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Float within the facility as needed based on patient care requirements.Participate in on-call coverage, typically one weekday call each week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.Holiday AvailabilityTravelers are expected to be available for holiday shifts. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler must work it. For two major holidays, both must be worked. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work at least two.Major Holidays IncludeMemorial DayIndependence DayLabor DayThanksgiving/Black FridayChristmas Eve/Christmas DayNew Year's Eve/New Year's DayQualificationsMinimum of 2 years experience in a CVOR setting.First-time travelers are accepted.Successful completion of a clinical screening to assess clinical fit.Compliance RequirementsCandidates must meet all compliance requirements to start on time. Delays in compliance may result in a push back of two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.ScheduleThe position requires a 3x12-hour day shift, operating from 06:30 to 19:00. Weekend-only options are available (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday).Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same benefits as travelers.Orientation InformationThe number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length.
