Responsible for coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems. Utilizes the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to determine clinical functions that are suitable for computer application and to ensure the Information systems are consistent with professional standards of clinical practice. Consults with and assists users in making the most effective use of computer applications through training, file maintenance, testing, system monitoring, and problem resolution. Assist in developing departmental policies and standards related to use of systems and software.Position RequirementsJOB QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION:Nursing Degree, Information Systems, Degree in Health Informatics, or related field preferred.EXPERIENCE: 3–5 years of EHR Clinical System Support Required.
