Production Manager

Location: Poway, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $110,000–$125,000 annually

We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our production operation and help us take the next step in building a scalable, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing organization.

What You'll Do

As Production Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the Production department, including people, processes, productivity, quality, and delivery.

You'll:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Production department
• Establish priorities and ensure production stays aligned with customer and company commitments
• Manage production schedules, capacity, workload, and resources
• Monitor production performance and establish meaningful department metrics
• Identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and potential delays before they become larger problems
• Lead and develop the Production team, including our Production Lead
• Set clear expectations and provide coaching, feedback, and performance support
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and development of production employees
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve production challenges
• Ensure production meets established quality standards, work instructions, and specifications
• Drive continuous improvement in production processes, workflow, tools, and efficiency
• Help develop and maintain standardized production processes
• Identify opportunities to reduce rework, improve throughput, and increase productivity
• Communicate production status, risks, resource needs, and opportunities to company leadership

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can combine strong people leadership with practical manufacturing experience .

You should have:

• 5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing a production team
• Experience managing production schedules, priorities, and competing demands
• Strong understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes
• Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, quality, and workflow
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, or similar teams
